Are you in tune with the moon?

Find out by joining my free 13-week creativity challenge. Explore the waxing and waning of your own creative energy cycles through insightful journal prompts and creative practices.

How does it work?

The challenge starts on January 1st, but you’ll want to sign up right away so you don’t miss anything. Your first logbook will arrive on December 30th so you'll have time to print it out and do the preliminary journaling exercises that will help you set your intentions for the first month. You’ll decide what you want to do as your creative activity, set a time to do it every day for at least 15 minutes, and record how you felt while practicing it.

Every week you'll get new logbook pages with new journaling prompts, and ways to reflect on the data you've collected and discover not only whether your creative energy cycle is synced with the lunar cycle, but how you can nourish and grow that creative energy. And maybe even earn a merit badge for demystifying the mystical.

Why is being creative such a struggle?

Creativity is difficult. It’s so easy to get deep into your thoughts and expectations and worries while you’re trying to create something amazing. And some of us need to pull this magic out of thin air everyday, as a job!

I’m sure you’ve noticed your creative cycles ebb and flow, I know mine certainly do. It’s always seemed unpredictable and I end up wasting a lot of time and expensive materials on my bad days. Even worse, I spend too many of my good days wishing I could be working on a creative project. As someone with chronic illness, those good days can be extra precious.

So I decided that I need to figure out my cycles if I’m going to have the successful creative career that I want.

So what does the moon have to do with this?

The lunar cycle felt like an easy place to start. The phases of the moon are known to affect the ocean tides and animal behavior. As humans, we all have our own natural cycles of the hormones—from melatonin to estrogen—in our bodies that affect our emotional and physical state. Does the lunar cycle also affect us the way it affects nature and animals? Are we in tune with the moon? Can we use it as a way to track when we are at our most creative?

If you want to join me in finding out, I’ve got 13 weeks of journaling prompts and habit tracking tools for you, packaged in beautiful, printable weekly logbooks. Sign up for free and challenge yourself to spend just a little time being creative every day.
